Our Weekend Wedding Package Includes

• Exclusive use of the grounds from Friday at 3:00 pm until Sunday at noon. 

• We offer several locations for your tent set up and for the ceremony, Come walk our 28 acres to select the perfect spot for your celebration.  

• Use of our six Guests Rooms for two nights, accommodating up to 12 guests.

  • A full breakfast each morning for up to 12 B&B guests. Additional guests sharing rooms will be charged $25 per person. 
  • Exclusive use of our common rooms including, Dinning Room, Living Room, Game Room, Wrap Around Front Porch, Deck, Wedding Gazebo, Pond and Picnic areas.  
  • Ample free parking.

Ask about our special rehearsal dinner BBQ and bonfire,   served picnic style for only $28 per person.

And a very special Sunday Brunch with chef prepared omelet bar for $20 per person. 

 Required Additional Costs:

• Tent rental
• Caterer
• Rental of tables and chairs
• Rental of dinnerware, glassware, silverware, and table linens if not provided by the caterer.
• Rental of portable restrooms for groups over 75.
• Security deposit or $1000, refundable within 30 days after the event provided the property is returned to normal conditions
• $500,000.00 Liability Insurance preferably with Inn on Poplar Hill named as “Co-Insured”.

Optional Additional Costs:

• Alcoholic Beverages – You must obtain an ABC permit from the Virginia ABC board.  We can help with this simple process.
• Photography
• Flowers and decorations
• Music - We do have a small iPod speaker system that you are welcome to use with your iPod and song list.  
• Horse drawn carriage

 Payment Schedule

A nonrefundable deposit of $1000 is due and payable upon receipt of the signed contract by Inn on Poplar Hill, which guarantees your date. The remaining balance is due and payable 90 days before the event.  

SPECIAL ONE-DAY WEDDING PACKAGE

 For groups wishing to hold a one-day event, we offer the following option:

• One room for the bride & groom to use to get ready and to stay the night.
• Breakfast in bed for the new couple
• Non-exclusive use of the grounds from noon until 9:00 pm on the day of the event.  Events ending later than 9pm will be charged an additional $250 per hour. The innkeepers reserve the right to limit late night parties to minimize disturbance to our inn guests.
• Ample free parking
• Additional Guests Rooms can be booked on an as needed, first come first served basis.

One Day Special Package Rates:

Please add the required 10% sales tax.

  Cancellation Policy: Our inn is small and cancellations affect us greatly since they preclude our booking anything else for that weekend. Therefore, please note that all deposits are nonrefundable and that the full amount is due and payable if a cancellation is made less than 90 days from the confirmed date of the event.
