This is an aerial view of our 28 acres. There are over 2 miles of walking trails. Stroll through our wildflower meadow, to the stocked fishing pond. Or find one of several private picnic spots in the shade of one of the ancient trees on the property. View our Overhead Trail Map

Catch the Biggest Fish in 2009 and win a free night in 2010. Guest must take a photo or have the Innkeeper document the catch to be eligible for the contest. We stocked the pond in 2004 with over 600 fish. Blue Gill, Cats, Crappy and Big Mouth Bass Congratulation to past champions Mary Beth Lecher with a 15 inch Catfish caught and released on August 18, 2006. And Nichole from Gaithersburg who caught both the 2005 and 2007 biggest fish. Come try your luck

Explore over 4 miles of walking trails through 28 acres of wildlife. Follow the Inn on Poplar Hill treasure map to discover An abundance of natural treasures. Adventurous guests will brave quick sand , climb a 100 year old dead fall, traverse small streams and discover hidden woodland treasures to be rewarded with bird and wild life sightings a waterfall , and natural spring. Our ½ acre stocked fishing pond is a great spot to just relax or catch your dinner. Feel free to build a camp fire to roast some marshmallows and take the chill out of the air. We offer all the wonders of camping with the pleasure of sleeping in comfort and waking to a fabulous country breakfast prepared by the Inn's private chef.
